Men's Breakfast Group
Facilitators: Richard Anderson, Charles Erickson and Dwight Reece
The Men's Breakfast group meets 8:30-9:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Denny's Restaurant, 95th Street at I-35 (next to the La Quinta Inn), except for December when it meets on the second Tuesday. Congenial atmosphere and good conversation, along with a monthly topic and special speaker, add up to an interesting time of fellowship with friends.
Next Meeting: March 10, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. The topic of conversation will be "In honor of the Olympics in Canada, please share what events you liked best and what you did not like."
Prime Timers & Retirees

The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 22, 2009, at 11:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Fellowship Hall at 11:00 a.m. Huey Strickland has arranged for us to view a video of the "10 Irish Singers." This will help us enjoy St. Patrick's Day. Lunch will be provided and served by Miriam Circle. If you need transportation, please call Rita at 913-381-9770.

WELCA Meetings Priscilla Circle will meet on Monday, March 1, at 1:00 p.m. in the library at church. Their project will be food for MLM's Food Pantry. Sarah Circle will meet on Tuesday, March 2, at 10:00 a.m. in the library at church. Their project will be socks and underwear for the City Union Mission and soup for the Ronald McDonald House. Miriam Circle will meet on Wednesday, March 10, at 1:00 p.m. at 4924 W. 78th Street. Their project will be peanuts for Crosslines Food Pantry. Parish Callers
Parish Callers is a ministry of prayer and care to elderly or those who cannot regularly attend worship. A Visitor Team may be comprised of a single person, or as when Jesus sent the Disciples out, we sometimes pair up to bring personal attention.
Parish Callers sometimes visit simply for conversation, or to deliver flowers or other expressions of connection with the congregation. They are also trained and equipped to administer the sacrament of Holy Communion. If you would like to be a part of this intentional ministry to long time members, contact the church office. We will equip, train, and assign you to a long time member in need of loving and personal attention. 4805 WEST 67TH STREET Faith Lutheran Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization, which exists to empower community change and to fund ministry and community efforts outside of the work of the congregation.
